Enough talk. After over a year in planning and over five years since we last tried to do a similar trip, and Kendall getting run over by a car in that time frame we are finally embarking on our adventure across the globe.

Our plane was set to arrive at 4:35 PM in Tokyo Narita Airport. This final international park is by far the one we were the most excited about, and not surprisingly also required the most research of the international parks. Tokyo Disney Resort is a world unto itself, as it is not owned by The Walt Disney Company but is instead owned by The Oriental Land Company.

So assuming we make it to our 11:30PM flight to Shanghai, we now needed to find a flight from Shanghai to Hong Kong. When booking award flights you often don’t pick the dates, the dates pick you. Searching the various awards programs turned up Cathay Pacific, which is the flag carrier for Hong Kong. Thankfully, Cathay Pacific had a large amount of business class availability so we were able to pick any date we so choose.

Of note, this was written about 5 days pre-trip, so we have no idea how good or bad these plans are gonna turn out, and some plans will likely change just based on last second audibles. Everything can l can crumble faster than a Chips Ahoy cookie dumped in milk as our as planes get delayed, aircraft swaps occur, and bad weather sets in.
